AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the WRRA will be held on Tuesday 17th February at the Hall and we would love to see you there.

A guest speak has been arranged –

Glenn Browne – Community Planning & Readiness Advisor to Waitakere, Henderson-Massey and Whau Local Boards.  Glenn works alongside local boards and community partners to empower communities to be ready, connected and resilient in the face of disasters and emergencies.

Join us as Glenn explores what Civil Defence really is and the important role Auckland Emergency Management plays in supporting our communities before, during, and after an emergency.

Glenn is working with our Committee in the development of a suitable Resilience Plan for Waiatarua.

Local Board members and Councillors will also be present.

The AGM is also the time for Nominations for the Committee;  if you are interested in standing for one of the positions or require further information then please contact the Secretary – email: secretary@waiatarua.org.nz and a Nomination Form will be sent to you.  The requirement is to be nominated by a financial member of the Association and seconded by a current Committee Member.
