Colouring Competition

As part of our 50-Year celebration we are holding a colouring competition. The competition is open to anyone up to the age of 14-years and the winners will each receive a Whitcoulls voucher.

How to enter

• Download and print bird outlines
• Colour your birds – be creative as you like.
• Photograph or scan your entry, and send your entry to president@waitatarua.org.nz
• Or drop your original in the letterbox at the Hall 911 Westcoast Rd.
• Remember to Include your name, age, and contact details (phone or email) with your entry
• Entries opens on Thursday 19 September 2024 and closes midnight Wednesday 16 October.

Age categories

• 5 and under
• 6-10
• 11-14

Conditions of Entry and Competition Rules.

• Multiple entries are acceptable but each must be made as a separate entry.
• The judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• There will be one prize awarded within each age category for this competition;
  • 5 years and under,
  • 6 – 10 years,
  • 11 – 14 years.
• Winning entries:
  • One of our local artists will choose a winner in each category for the best use of design and creativity.
  • Winners will be announced at the 50th Anniversary Exhibition at  Midday and published on the Waiatarua Website.
• All personal details provided to participate in this promotion will be held by the Waiatarua Residents and Ratepayers Association and will not be used for any other promotion
